Crocheted Angel Pins for Bereaved Mothers

Posted on: January 2, 2009

When I worked as a nurse in Labor and Delivery, a friend would make pink and blue angels. We would give them to mothers who had experienced a miscarriage, fetal demise, or stillborn infant. The pattern was fairly simple. An extra special touch that was added was a personal poem written for either a boy or a girl. http://www.heartmadeblessings.org/patterns/robbiesangel.asp
